Neuro-Linguistic Programming often incorporates hypnosis and self-hypnosis to help achieve the change that is wanted.
EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Techniques, also referred to as ‘Tapping’ or ‘Psychological Acupressure’. EFT tapping is a combination of ancient Chinese acupressure and modern psychology, now known as energy psychology. EFT is an alternative treatment for physical pain and emotional distress. It’s been an authorized treatment for war veterans with PTSD, and it’s demonstrated benefits as a treatment for anxiety, depression, physical pain, and insomnia.
MBSR- Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction is a mindfulness-based program designed to help alleviate stress, anxiety, depression and chronic pain. It combines meditation techniques with cognitive behavioural skills and mindful movement and is taught in a way that is practical and relevant for everyday living. MBSR uses the ancient tradition of mindfulness in an accessible format helping participants conquer their difficulties and challenges when suffering from a wide variety of physical and psychological difficulties.
